As reported by Ukrinform, the press service of the Ministry of Digital Transformation reported this on Telegram.
The message “Total funding of the Digital Europe program is 7.5 billion euros. For Ukraine, about 6 billion euros are provided to finance projects in the specified and current aspects of the program. They will be allocated for 7 years.”
Financing of digital projects will be carried out in the following directions: high-performance computing; artificial intelligence, data and cloud services; use of digital technologies in economy and society; cyber security (direction closed to non-EU countries).
The ministry noted that details of study programmes, competitive offers and how to apply for participation in the program will be made available on the Digital Europe website in the fall.
On September 5, Ukraine and the EU signed five agreements – Ukraine’s participation in the EU “Digital Europe” program, participation in the customs cooperation program with a budget of about 1 billion euros, cooperation in the tax field Fiscalis, the European Commission’s grant budget for Ukraine On the provision of budgetary support of € 500 million, an agreement that increased € 122 million.
