In 2020, Microsoft introduced the Surface Laptop Go, Apple’s most affordable laptop to compete with the MacBook Air.
Surprisingly, in 2021 the company did not update the line, leaving it to better times. And apparently, these best times have come.
According to Zach Bowden of Windows Central, Redmonds is preparing to hold a presentation to present the long-awaited Surface Laptop Go 2. The event is expected to take place this spring, in April-May.
The laptop will reportedly have a starting price of $549, while more advanced modifications will cost $699 and $899.
An insider states that one of the main innovations of the device will be higher performance thanks to Intel 11 generation chips. Most likely, the device will have 4/8 GB RAM and 128/256 GB permanent memory options.
