As planned, the Spanish Government announced the launch of the project. Pilot phase of My Citizen Folder application. This is an initiative framed in the Digital Spain Agenda and, in a nutshell, consists of an app for iOS and Android where citizens can: Manage your relationship with Public Administrationalso access to information, previous appointments etc.
The application is available completely free of charge on the Google Play Store and App Store (for Android and iOS respectively). According to the Spanish Government, this new version is “part of a pilot program” to collect and develop comments. Below we review all the available options.

Accessing My Citizen Folder ID required Via Cl@ve, electronic DNI, PIN code and Permanent code. Any option is valid. Once inside, we will see if the application has pending notifications, appointments, files and a personal summary with all the information.
As the Spanish Government explains on its website, it is possible to “know notifications you have not read yet from multiple public administrations at all administrative levels” and even make “requests” through the Single Authorized Electronic Address – DEHú. AGE General Electronic Registry (REC), review your requests submitted to another public authority and find out their status”.

In the “Files” tab, Open files with different Public Administrations and, according to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, “it is currently linked to most of the General State Administration bodies and 11 Autonomous Communities that are currently affiliated”.
Also interesting thing is, notification service for example, it warns that a document like DNI or driver’s license has expired, or an appointment like ITV has expired. The privacy policy can be consulted on the service website.

It should be noted that although there is a lot of information accessible from the application like everything related to education, in many cases the buttons presented direct access to the website of the relevant organization for example to request an appointment or to manage some data.
