TikTok has announced a new feature. it is literally a BeReal cloneapplication of the moment that has grown and become popular thanks to its unique mechanics: it allows you to send photos once a day and at a random time.
Social network owned by Chinese giant ByteDance “TikTok Now” premieres and presents it as “a daily photo and video experience to share your most authentic moments with the people who matter most to us,” according to a press release.
How TikTok Now works, clone of BeReal
TikTok Now works almost exactly the same as BeReal. If you are a user of this social network, daily notification will invite you to take a 10-second video or photo using your device’s front and rear cameras.
Like BeReal, the notification is a random moment, so you will not be able to broadcast at the time you want. For this, TikTok’s Camera, Story, Templates etc. You will have other possibilities that standard broadcasts offer.
The company says it will try this feature in the United States and other regions in the coming weeks. In the case of Spain, TikTok Now will be integrated into the TikTok app. Users “Now” button on bottom tab.
But it will not be the only alternative. ByteDance also announces that it will release one. Now the standalone app called TikTok. Please note that as this is a gradual rollout, the new feature may not be immediately available to all users.
Copying functions between social networks to gain users has become the norm. To cite a few examples, Instagram has adopted Stories, taking Snapchat as an “example”. He made his eyes on TikTok with Reels.
Despite promising us a more authentic experience, BeReal’s popularity makes us more mobile-dependent. Meta was also interested.. Zuckerberg’s company is also preparing its own clone for Instagram.
