The high-speed gunboat Combat Boat 90 can be used for the delivery and landing of amphibious assaults, as a patrol boat or special fire support ship, as well as for the surveillance of the water area in its area of ​​​​responsibility. .

The design of the Combat Boat 90 provides excellent seaworthiness, high speed, efficiency and safety in a variety of operating conditions. The body is made of aluminum, the length is 14.9 meters, the displacement is 18-23 tons, the maximum width is 3.85 meters.

The boat can carry 21 fully equipped fighters and up to 4.5 tons of cargo. The debris-protected wheelhouse has seating for two operators and an optional reclining swivel seat between them. Directly under the cab is a compartment with a transition to the spring descent ramp. The ramp allows for the immediate disembarkation of troops and the rapid evacuation of victims from the shore.

The landing compartment is located in the middle of the hull. The stern of the hull is an open deck and can serve as a floating command post with additional communications equipment or as an artillery boat with possible weapon placement.

The boat is powered by two diesel engines with a capacity of 816 hp. (600 kW) enables it to reach speeds of 45 knots while maintaining high maneuverability in shallow waters in coastal waters. The boat is equipped with two Kamewa FF jet engines partially located in the guide nozzle.

This feature of the water jet, together with the underwater control surfaces, enables the boat to make sharp maneuvers even at high speeds. The maximum range is about 440 km. At 20 knots (37 km/h).

The boat’s standard armament includes three Browning M2HB machine guns, a 12.7mm machine gun (or 40mm grenade launcher) mounted in a turret aft of the wheelhouse. It can be replaced with a remote-controlled, stabilized machine gun turret. In front of the helmsman’s place, a paired 12.7-mm machine gun was placed. Additionally, the boat is equipped with a Mk 19 grenade launcher and a modified Hellfire RBS 17 SSM system.
