Amazon entered the TV hardware game last year with the Fire TV Omni and Fire TV Series 4. They were released as competent budget displays with some useful features. Now the e-commerce giant has introduced two new models of the Fire TV Omni QLED series with 65 and 75 inch diagonal screens. New TVs offer better picture quality and features like new adaptive brightness tool and local dimming. Here are all the details.
As mentioned, Amazon has launched its new Fire TV Omni QLED Series 4K UHD TVs in two sizes: 65-inch and 75-inch. Both models have the same features. They come with a host of impressive features and support Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, HDR and HLG. Additionally, the company has bundled a new feature called Adaptive Brightness. As the name suggests, this feature can automatically adjust the brightness of the screen depending on the lighting in the room.
In addition, it is equipped with a full set of local dimming up to 96 zones to increase contrast. Additionally, with built-in presence sensors, the Omni QLED series can detect when someone enters the room and switch to a beautiful, informative Ambient Experience system. The screen can display photos, pictures, or Alexa widgets like weather and reminders.
It goes without saying that the Omni QLED series supports a variety of apps including Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ and Apple TV. The Fire TV is equipped with two internal 12W speakers and also allows you to connect the speakers wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.0 or connect an external soundbar using the AV and eARC ports.
It comes in two sizes: The 65-inch model of the Fire TV Omni QLED series costs $800. 75 inches is $1,100. The two TVs are currently available for pre-order via Amazon.
