All news from Google Pixel 7
There are many similarities between the Google Pixel 6 released last year and the Google Pixel 7 announced today. Both have a 6.3-inch Full HD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. There’s even an under-display fingerprint scanner that peaks at 1400 nits.
The fast charging system is 21W (or 20W for wireless charging), but the nominal battery capacity has been reduced from 4600mAh to 4355mAh. The Pixel 7 smartphone has versions with 128 GB and 256 GB of storage space and 8 GB of RAM.
New Google Tensor G2 Processor
The main novelty is, without a doubt, the Google Tensor G2 processor. They have the same technical specifications as their predecessors, but use a more efficient process at the 4nm level. According to Google, this means more battery savings and better performance, although it’s not specified.
The Pixel 7 also supports Wi-Fi 6E as well as its own VPN system. However, this last feature will not be available at launch.
Camera System Improvements
Significant changes have also been made to the set of cameras. The Google Pixel 7 has a 50MP main camera in addition to a 12MP ultra-wide camera. Both get a feature called “Cinematic Blur” and support for 10-bit HDR video.

Google also claims they’ve improved the zoom, but numerically it’s still 2x optical zoom and 7x digital zoom.
The front camera now has a 10.8-megapixel sensor and can be used to unlock the device using the Face Unlock feature.
The operating system of the Google Pixel 7 is Android 13, and the company is guaranteeing consumers at least three version updates and five years of security updates.
The Google Pixel 7 goes on sale for a starting price of $599 – the same as the previous generation. There are no predictions that the product will be sold in Brazil.

Google Pixel 7 Pro is the most reliable version of the company’s new generation of smartphones. It has a 6.7-inch QHD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, which can be dropped to 10Hz under certain conditions.
According to the company, this is a display with a maximum brightness of 20% than its predecessors. The OLED display is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus, just like the previous version. IP68 protection against water and dust is also confirmed.
The rear camera consists of a 50MP main sensor (f/1.85), a 12MP ultra wide-angle camera (f/2.2) and a 48MP telephoto lens (f/3.5) with 5x zoom. The front camera has a resolution of 11.1 megapixels (f / 2.2).
