The manufacturer claims that the modernized AH-64 will receive an improved transmission, which will increase the maximum speed and range of the helicopter. The helicopter, built on the basis of the AH-64E Apache Guardian V6, will receive additional weapon suspension points.
In the published image, you can see the M310 launcher with launch pods enabling the use of Air Launched Effects (ALE) drones. The device family will include barrage munitions and electronic warfare drones. The upgraded helicopter also carries 16 Hellfire missiles.
The modernized helicopter concept will be presented at the US Army Corps conference. It is stated that the US military plans to use the AH-64 for another 25-30 years.
