Launch of Japanese launch vehicle Epsilon-6 failed

The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency’s (JAXA) Epsilon-6 launch vehicle self-destructed shortly after launch due to a deviation from its planned flight path.

This was reported by Kyodo News, according to Ukrinform reports.

It was noted that the Epsilon-6 rocket, which was developed by private and government institutions and has 8 satellites on it, was launched from Uchinoura Space Base at around 09:50 local time and JAXA sent a self-destruct order at 09:57. device.

After the failed launch, JAXA said the decision was made after the rocket strayed from its planned flight path and failed to put the satellites into orbit.

A self-destructing missile fell into the sea. The investigation into the cause of the incident is ongoing.

This is Japan’s first failed missile launch since November 2003, when an H2A missile was deliberately destroyed shortly after launch.

As reported by Ukrinform, Japanese space agency JAXA and Mitsubishi Electric have developed a new Earth observation satellite Daichi-3.
