The project of the premium version of the Realme GT2 Pro camera phone has been cancelled. Insider OnLeaks, who was the first to say this at the time, says that Realme’s marketing director announced that the smartphone was canceled.

The reasons for this decision of Realme are still unknown. If such a device does come out, it would be the first smartphone in the Realme series where the main focus would be on the camera. It will be recalled that initially the smartphone was associated with an eight-megapixel TV with two 50-megapixel sensors and one ultra-wide sensor for the main camera. Also, the device should have a 6.8-inch OLED display with a resolution of 3200×1440 pixels, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and a 125-watt charger.

First, an OnLeaks insider talked about the smartphone and shared the footage. The design of the smartphone was similar to the Google Nexus 6P, thanks to which the device received a lot of attention. The existence of such a smartphone was later confirmed by Realme, but as we see now, the project has been abandoned.
