Samsung is preparing to launch a a new mobile phone for the competitive middle class. It is the Galaxy M54 that appeared in Vietnamese media and mixes new and less new components in a very interesting configuration for the target market.

Samsung dominates the global mobile phone world by units sold, has a top-of-the-line S series that can rival anyone, and almost completely dominates the new foldable segment. The entry and middle range is something else and the manufacturer was threatened by what came from China, mainly from Xiaomi. To counter this, Samsung has beefed up its “A” and “M” series in recent years with models that sold better than the high-end.

Galaxy M54, designed for the best seller

The mobile that concerns us is an example of what we say. After the M53 line, Samsung is expected to repeat with a good screen size (6.67 inches), AMOLED quality and a refresh rate of 90 Hz.

Its engine will be much more powerful than the MediaTek Dimensity of the previous model, because it is Snapdragon 888. It was Qualcomm’s most powerful chipset in 2020, but it’s still very interesting for the current mid-range.

When it comes to cameras, a triple rear sensor, 64MP main, 12MP ultra-wide and 5MP macro. The selfie front will have a 32 MP sensor and will be placed in the typical screen perforation.

Another interesting component is the battery o 6000 mAh, a huge capacity that will support 25W fast charging from the USB Type-C port. It will include a fingerprint reader, GPS, support for 5G mobile networks, as well as Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless connectivity.

Samsung will launch the Galaxy M54 later this year. We assume with Android 12 and various color modifications and a price that would range from 300 to 400 euros.
