Meta, owner of WhatsApp, has confirmed issues with the platform.
A Meta spokesperson said, “We are aware that some users are currently having trouble sending messages and are working to restore WhatsApp for everyone as soon as possible.” Said.
WhatsApp, which has about 2 billion users, is said to be especially popular in countries such as India and Brazil.
Users around the world, from the UK to India and Turkey, reported outages on Tuesday.
