Various leaks and rumors that have surfaced in the past few days suggest that the launch of the next Moto X40 is very close. Lo smartphone è infatti stato has recently been awarded 3C e TENAA certification. Meanwhile, Chen Jin, general manager of China Mobile Lenovo, was waiting for the Moto X40 to confirm some specs.
Moto X40 could be the first smartphone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor
Chen Jin specifically said on Weibo (Chinese Twitter) that the X40 will be equipped with “a new SoC in the future” and LPDDR5X type RAM. Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is November’s biggest CPU.
We also recall that its predecessor, the Moto Edge X30, was the first phone in the world with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and was released in December 2021. The X40 can be connected to a smartphone with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chip.
In terms of all other specs, according to previous leaks, the Moto X40 will feature an OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, 8GB and 12GB RAM variants. For photography, we will find a 60-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel triple rear camera.
