microsoft added a whole host of processors Raptor Lake to the Windows 11 compatibility list, and when we say the whole range, it also includes models that have not yet been announced. In fact, it’s news that all the Raptor Lake generation processors that Intel intends to release so far have been known, as their compatibility with Microsoft’s latest operating system is something that must always be taken for granted when we talk about x86.

generation Intel’s Raptor Lake, at least for now, will consist of a total of 22 processors addition of models K, non-K, F and other series such as low consumption. However, it is important to note that not all models are based on the last generation, Raptor Cove architecture, as at least some non-K processors will use Golden Cove, an Alder Lake architecture.

We remind you that the K models stand out for the equipment they offer for execution overclocking and F have a faulty graphics accelerator and so it doesn’t work, but the rest of the package should do its job normally (CPU manufacturing has more to do with cookie making than what one would think of as a high-precision manufacturing process).

The list of processors leaked by Microsoft would be confirmed by GIGABYTE, or at least suggested by Twitter account @momomo_us. The list, which is said to be from GIGABYTE, is more complete as it lists frequencies, TDPs, L3 cache sizes and even the matrix used by each model.

At general levels, there is nothing groundbreaking in the list, except that some models such as The Core i5-13400 will use Alder Lake (C0) and Raptor Lake (B0) dies, so it is speculated that it could have features disabled to have performance and operation similar to that of Golden Cove technology. The origin would be in an attempt to take advantage of the B0 matrices, which turned out to be very defective, but which are fully functional in the real world, so it would be a maneuver by Intel to minimize the amount of waste (to better take advantage of the means and resources that are available is the way , how to improve profitability).

And so far the models of the Intel Raptor Lake generation, which is not necessarily the technology that has arrived for it, since many models will recycle what is implemented in Alder Lake. If you want to know what Raptor Lake is capable of, we invite you to read our extensive and detailed analysis on the subject, in which we tested the Core i9-13900K and Core i5-13600K models.
