The publication writes that employees must be laid off by November 1, when they receive grants in the form of company shares, which make up a significant part of their salary. Musk can avoid paying the grants by making cuts before that date.

Musk announced that he has created a special council to review the issue of Twitter moderation. So far, he has promised not to make any major decisions in this area.
