Despite Microsoft Edge being in sync with Chrome, as both are based on Chromium, it tries to be much more than a clone by adding many of its own and deeply redesigning the interface. Microsoft Edge 107 stands out for the following changes and innovations that it introduced at the policy level:

  • ExtensionInstallBlockList – Defines which extensions users cannot install in the browser.
  • ExtensionInstallForceListEdgeWorkspacesEnabled – Defines which extensions will be installed unattended.
  • RestoreOnStartupUserURLsEnabled – If enabled, users can configure their own URLs to open when Edge starts.

And so far all the advantages of Microsoft Edge 107, now the latest stable version of the Redmond giant’s web browser. Since it is now based on Chromium, it does not hurt to remember that deep down and despite the profound aesthetic changes and the addition of some features, if it is true, it is not a real alternative to Chrome.
