The space rock is 330 to 740 meters in diameter, slightly smaller than the world’s tallest skyscraper Burj Khalifa at 828 meters in Dubai, UAE, according to NASA.
It will come as close to Earth as possible on Tuesday from a distance of about 2.3 million kilometers. The speed of the asteroid is 84,500 km per hour.
This asteroid is considered “potentially dangerous” as its length exceeds 150 meters and its maximum distance from planet Earth is less than 7.5 million kilometers. To be defined as “potentially dangerous” it must meet both parameters at the same time.
