In the first 6 months of 2022, Discord messenger’s moderators blocked more than 55 million accounts and about 68,000 servers. This has been reported by the PC Gamer post.

It is stated that the vast majority of accounts are banned for sending spam. Of the above-mentioned profiles, only 1.8 million were blocked due to other violations.

Other violations primarily involve user actions that threaten the safety of children and adolescents. As a rule, these are attempts to sexually exploit minors, as well as posting unsolicited content.

Discord is pleased with the high quality of the work of its moderators, as statistics show that mistakes are rarely made by them. In the first quarter of 2022, only 2% of blocked profiles were sanctioned after appeal and 0.6% in the second quarter.
