Even today (27) Xiaomi has announced at the event its new Xiaomi Book Air 13 laptop model for the Chinese market. In addition to being extremely thin, it also has a 13.3-inch OLED touch screen and the latest generation i5 or i7 processors from Intel Core.

Looking at the design of the device, two things stand out the most: the body is only 12mm thick and weighs 1.2kg, as well as a 13.3-inch OLED screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a high resolution of 2880x. 1800 pixels. Also worth mentioning is HDR support in Dolby Vision technology with HDR 500 certification and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.

The laptop allows you to rotate the screen to any desired angle, including fully folding the laptop to use it primarily as a tablet and get the most out of the touch screen. A protective layer of Gorilla Glass 3 protects the display from possible damage.

As for the technical characteristics of the model, the Xiaomi Book Air 13 is available in two versions: equipped with an Intel Core i7-1250U processor with 10 cores and 12 threads and a clock speed of 4.7 GHz; or equipped with an Intel Core i5-1230U with the same number of cores and threads, but with a lower frequency of 4.4 GHz.

However, with regards to the two SOCs, one can observe a big difference in their integrated graphics, since the i7 has Iris Xe graphics with 96 execution units and runs at 950 MHz, while the i5 has only 80 execution units and runs at 850 MHz. Both processors are accompanied by 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM at 5200 MHz.

Finally, it’s worth mentioning that the laptop has stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, two Thunderbolt 4 connectors, a headphone jack, and a 65W charger port. The device also has 512GB of internal storage on NVMe 4.0 SSD.
