According to Window Central, Blizzard plans to start promoting the game heavily from The Game Awards this December. Sources have assured that the event will officially announce its release date and open up pre-orders. For example, one of the benefits will be early access to the February beta test.

Corden has announced that Diablo IV will adopt the in-game season model and introduce a microtransaction system. The launch of the first season of the project is scheduled for the third quarter of 2023.
