Founded in 2009 to serve in the fields of digital projects, stage technologies and new generation media, Project Istanbul returned with three awards from the Muse Creative Awards held in the US.

ISTANBUL (IGFA) – Projects combining technology and museology in Turkey received prestigious awards.

Project Istanbul team, which won an award last year with the map show telling the historical journey of the place in the Şerefiye Cistern, the world’s oldest and Turkey’s first structure with its own projection system for mapping, this year Konya Science Festival and Kütahya Phrygian Civilization Promotion Center, which they held in the museum and exhibition space, won three Muse Creative Awards with his projects.

The ImmersiveRoom project in the Phrygian Valley of Kütahya, where visitors can experience the transitions between Kütahya’s cultural heritage using artificial intelligence technology, won a Platinum award in Best Immersive Experience and a Silver award in the field from Experiential and Immersive project.

The project, which was realized by painting three walls and floors with light in the Phrygian valley of Kütahya, also stands out as the world’s first and highest-resolution project produced with artificial intelligence in 12,000 pixels.

The second Platinum award, for which the team received an award at the Muse Creative Awards 2022, is the Konya Science Festival project, in which approximately 300,000 people participated for free. Cansu Ergin, managing partner of Project Istanbul, who won an award in the Best Event Technologies category with the video mapping show created for the festival, the immersive experience areas, the stage technology systems used and the drone show they created with 200 drones, said that with digital art and digital museology emerging today, we have this idea. He said they will continue to work in the field.
