As he reported channel 24talked about Instagram’s new feature on its page for creators. Companies and creators will be able to schedule videos, photos, and carousels for up to 75 days in the app itself. Instagram has been testing this feature for the past few weeks, allowing a small percentage of users to access the tool.
Schedule Instagram posts
To access this feature, eligible users must go to Advanced Settings after creating their post but before sharing it with their followers. From here, they can enable the “Schedule this post” option and choose the time and date they want it to be published. Next, they should go back to the post they created and click Schedule.
Instagram has launched a post scheduler/Photo Meta
Scheduled posts can be viewed in the “Scheduled Content” section accessible via the hamburger menu. The process may be simpler, but this feature eliminates the need to use a separate website or Creator Studio app for a smoother experience.
What about ordinary users?
It is not yet clear whether this feature will be rolled out to regular users. Instagram has yet to mention anything about the full rollout of scheduled posts.
Interestingly, in the same post announcing the built-in scheduler, Instagram launched the Achievements system. Authors can unlock them by completing certain actions, such as collaborating with another author and creating interactive videos with surveys and quizzes.
“Achievements” now available for creators / Photo Meta
