Launch vehicle CZ-7 Y6 (Long March-7 Y6 or “Big March-7 Y6”) with “Tianzhou-5” on board was launched at 10:03 Beijing time from Wenchang Cosmodrome off the coast of southern China’s island province China reported in the Office of the Manned Cosmonaut Program.
“Tianzhou-5” separated from the launch vehicle and reached the designated orbit about 10 minutes after launch. The solar panels were deployed and started working.

Then, according to the plan, the cargo ship will go to the space station and dock with it.
The Tianzhou-5 launch was the fifth of six flights that China has planned to complete the main phase of the station’s construction in 2022. Before the ship’s arrival, the station had grown to three modules and the Shenzhou-14 crew continues to work on it. Shenzhou-14 is expected to fly to the station a little later, in December 2022.
