OUR DJI may bring its first augmented reality feature to DJI goggles🇧🇷 In a new commercial, a drone maker has suggested that its goggles will soon have the ability to project information about the aircraft onto real objectsboth in the drone itself and in the controller.

On the frames, published with the caption “What if …” in his twitter Officially, the Chinese giant reveals that one of its controllers is on and some AR features start with it. A small hologram of the aircraft is projected above the control panel, and a field with a projection of the company logo and something like information about the device is displayed at the bottom of it.

officially DJI did not specify what it is and how this new technology will work. But from what has been shown, one would believe that this is indeed the incorporation of augmented reality features into the company’s aerial platforms.

Even though this is a very interesting solution, mainly intended for the survival of some old drones, DroneXL indicates that this novelty will have to solve some legal issues. The portal indicates that drone pilots using DJI goggles the goggles must have an optical observer in order for their use to comply with FAA regulations.

The publication was not clear. DJI will this new product work with goggles current ones that are already out of order and have been replaced DJI FPVor if the company intends to release a new device only for playing AR content.
