The drone performed running and autonomous control at the air base in Tekirdag province. Kızılelma will be able to take off and land on ships with short runways, including the versatile landing craft Anadolu. The drone will also be able to operate alongside manned aircraft and carry air-to-air missiles.
It is assumed that the maximum speed of the Red Apple will be 800 kilometers per hour, and the mass of the payload will be 1.5 tons.
In October, Baykar CEO Haluk Bayraktar said the company plans to equip its drones with air-to-air guided missiles.
