Chinese brand Honor has announced the Honor 80 Pro smartphone equipped with a 160 MP camera. This was reported by the GSM Arena portal.
The novelty received a 6.78-inch OLED display with curved edges and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Honor 80 Pro is equipped with the flagship 2022 Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. At the same time, the company has slightly reduced the frequency of the processor – it runs at 3 GHz instead of the usual 3.2 GHz for the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
Honor 80 Pro has a 160 MP resolution main camera, 50 MP ultra wide angle module and 2 MP depth sensor. The two front cameras with a resolution of 50 MP and 2 MP are placed in a rectangular cutout in the style of Dynamic Island, as on the iPhone 14 Pro.
The device received a battery with a capacity of 4800 mAh with 66 W fast charging. The smartphone runs on updated MagicOS 7 firmware based on Android 12.
The price of the Honor 80 Pro in China starts at 3.5 thousand yuan for a configuration with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of permanent memory. Whether the new product is available outside of China has yet to be announced.
