In Ukraine, about 44% of base stations of mobile operators – State Private Communications work

As of the morning of November 24, only 44% of the base stations of mobile operators are working in Ukraine.

Volodymyr Kondrashov, spokesperson for the State Private Communications and Information Protection Service, announced this at the briefing, Ukrinform correspondent reported.

“Intense Russian missile attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure led to power outages of public communication networks… As of 9:00 am today, 24 November, about 44% of mobile operators’ base stations are operating in Ukraine. base stations,” said Kondrashov.

According to him, energy companies, mobile operators, telecommunications operators, the Center for Operational-Technical Management of State Private Communications and National Telecommunication Networks are working around the clock to restore communication in areas that are currently unavailable.

As reported, on November 19-20, energy companies, together with mobile operators, restored 3,300 base stations damaged by Russian aggression in all regions of Ukraine.

The rocket attack on November 23 caused the temporary shutdown of all nuclear power plants, most of them thermal and hydroelectric power plants. Power transmission facilities are also affected.
