The 2023 generation ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 has been spotted via a filtered photo from the South Korean Energy Agency as part of its certification process. The product codename is GA402N and is supposed to contain a serial processor AMD Ryzen 7 7700 with a base frequency of 3.2 GHz, which should be more specifically Ryzen 7 7735Hwhich in theory should use the Zen 4 architecture, but who knows what it will end up using when AMD used the Ryzen 7000 notebook models to recycle previous versions of its technology.

Apart from the more than predictable processor update, perhaps the new thing that stands out the most from the laptop a dedicated graphics card, which could be an AMD Radeon RX 7000S clearly more powerful than the Radeon RX 6800S used by the 2022 generation model. It’s clear that AMD needs to improve if it wants to gain ground in a segment heavily dominated by NVIDIA. On the other hand, the use of AMD graphics technology may make the future ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 more attractive to those Linux users who are not willing to deal with the always problematic NVIDIA driver for this system.

The release date and price of the 2023 generation ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 are not yet known, although it looks like it could be seen at CES 2023, which will be held earlier this year in the American city of Las Vegas. Despite the unknown price, it is of course clear that it will not be a cheap laptop, when the current model cost at least 2,799 euros when it was launched.
