The developers of the racing simulator Gran Turismo 7 are planning to bring the game to the PC. This was reported by GTPlanet.

Information about the transfer of the title to personal computers was confirmed by Kazunori Yamauti, the head of the Polyphony Digital studio, which is engaged in the development of the Gran Turismo series. According to Yamauti, the company is considering such an option.

However, the head of Polyphony Digital noted that due to the fact that GT7 was originally developed for consoles, the release of the game on PC may be blocked. “There aren’t many platforms that can run games at 4K/60p to begin with”, recorded by Kazunori Yamauti. According to him, for the next PS-exclusive game to appear on PCs, the creators of the game will have to seriously engage in optimization.

According to journalists, the appearance of Gran Turismo 7 could draw more attention to the series. The first game of the series was released in 1997, all games in the series were created for PlayStation consoles.
