It was noted that the banner with the number 2.22.24.18 appeared in the test version of WhatsApp on Android. The message says that WhatsApp Beta is now also available on Android tablets. At the same time, none of the testers showed the work of the messenger on tablets.
According to WABetaInfo, the tablet version of WhatsApp may be missing some features – for example, the ability to share your location in real time.
The timing of the full release of WhatsApp on Android tablets has not yet been announced. Presumably, this innovation will become available in the coming months with the release of the function that allows the full-fledged operation of the messenger on several devices at the same time.
