Gaming media reporters have started posting the first reviews of the Need for Speed ​​Unbound race. Judging by them, the new episode is one of the best in the series’ entire existence.

At the time of publication, the PlayStation 5 version of the game had a score of 80 out of 100 on review aggregator website Metacritic. Need for Speed ​​received this rating based on six reviews.

The closest chronological game in the series to score higher is the 2012 iOS version of Need for Speed: Most Wanted. It has a score of 82 out of 100 on Metacritic.

It is noteworthy that the novelty received a similar score – 7.9 out of 10 – from users. In this feedback category, the race received comments from 217 players.

Unbound may also have a high rating on Steam: there are 922 reviews for the game here, 87% of which are positive.

Need for Speed ​​Unbound is the 25th installment of the racing game series of the same name. The release of the project took place on December 2. The novelty is only available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
