“The rotary capsule of the Shenzhou-14 manned spacecraft with astronauts Chen Dong, Liu Yang and Cai Xuzhe landed safely at the Dongfeng Landing Site in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in northern China today,” the statement said.
The Shenzhou-14 mission, translated as “Divine Boat”, was launched on June 5, 2022. This flight was the ninth manned launch under China’s Shenzhou program and the 14th overall.
As reported by Ukrinform, the three-taikonaut Shenzhou-15 spacecraft successfully launched on Tuesday, docking with the Chinese orbital station on Wednesday.
