The Samsung company began advertising the new Galaxy M04 smartphone in India, thanks to which the price of the new product in the maximum configuration – 8.9 thousand rupees, which is approximately equal to 110 dollars – became known. This was reported by GSMArena. At the same time, journalists noted that Samsung will also launch a simplified version of the model, which will have a price tag of less than $ 100.

Initially, the novelty was expected to cost around 10,000 (about $120). Such a price was implied by the previously known features of the device.

The Galaxy M04 received a relatively old and weak entry-level MediaTek Helio G35 processor, which was released in the summer of 2020. However, its shortcomings are partially compensated by RAM with a record 8 GB volume for its price category. GSMArena also does not ignore the fact that the model will receive a 3 GB RAM module, which will increase to 8 GB thanks to the internal flash memory.

It is also known that the new product will have 4G LTE support, dual cameras, a screen with a resolution of 720 by 1600 pixels and a drop-shaped cutout for the front camera. “Out of the box” smartphone will run under Android 12. GSMArena does not rule out the possibility that the new product will not receive Android 13 support.

It is unknown when the Galaxy M04 will appear in the global market.
