In Calgary, Canada, a dog bit his owner’s game controller and made several in-game purchases on PlayStation Store in the process. This was reported by the Mobile Syrup portal.
The owner of the one-year-old dog, David Murphy, told what happened. According to him, the dog nicknamed Zoe suddenly disappeared and went to check on what he was doing. As a result, Murphy caught the pet eating the PlayStation DualShock 4 controller.
He took the device from the dog’s hand and started receiving notifications about purchases from the PlayStation Store. Murphy initially thought his account had been hacked, but customer support said the purchase was made from a console in his home. As a result, Murphy learned that Zoe had bought a few items while she was gnawing at the buttons.
PlayStation is known to issue refunds for purchases. Ironically, it was noted that they were made in the game Watch Dogs, a project with the word “dogs” in the title.
