The owners of the bar “Kutovy” say that they have a positive attitude towards guests with laptops. They argue that people still need to work and earn money somehow. At the same time, even if the guest only drinks a cup of coffee, the main thing is remembered the place and most likely, next time they will come to them not just to use Internet access, but to relax.

At the same time, the pub was chosen separate living room for such guests – there is no music, and the tables are designed for 2-3 guests. Additional ottomans, armchairs and extension chairs are also available. Here you can work from 11 am to 6 pm because after that there can be loud music in the hall, a big company sitting or a football broadcast.

According to Tania Mykytin, co-owner of the CheeseBakery cafe-bakery, that’s the only reason they’re starting to encounter a number of guests who want to work in businesses.

A lot the problem was there before – permanent queue and permanent freelancers. But now it has become easier to communicate with guests because most of them understand the situation,

Restaurateur Anya Kozachenko shared with previous business visitors that there were no problems with the Milk Bar establishment – people always went to eat together. After the power cuts began, the influx of people who wanted to work increased, but not at a critical level. At the same time, they continue to do so large enough orders.

At the same time, the institutions nevertheless decided balance the situation. A large table with sockets and extension cords was placed on one of them, but if there are no empty seats behind it, then you cannot sit with a laptop on the rest of the tables – there were even stickers there “No laptop”. In another institution, restrictions were imposed on working hours – on laptops you can only work from 8 am to 5 pm.

Pure and Naive

Pure & Naive bar works in two formats: with coffee and breakfast in the morning and wine in the evening. Restaurateur Pavlo Huk notes that there are always visitors working on laptops in the morning and afternoon. However, there was activity in the institution in the evening hours. an unspoken rule – laptops are turned off or left at home.

Sockets and extension cables have been added to the facility so that every guest can charge their device after power cuts. At the same time, the evening rule bans laptops disappeared – someone can just rest, and someone can charge and work the devices.
