Dell introduced the Concept Luna modular laptop, which can be disassembled in a minute. This was reported by the Engadget portal.

In 2021, Dell has already demonstrated the first advances in creating a modular laptop, but the latest iteration of the Concept Luna used glue and screws to attach some components. The Concept Luna 2022 laptop is said to take around 30 seconds to completely disassemble as its cables and screws have already been removed.

To disassemble a laptop, it is enough to pinch a special hole in its case with a pin, remove the insert on the keyboard, and then take the necessary part – speakers, battery, fan, motherboard or screen.

This concept aims to create more sustainable and ecological vehicles. Thus, in case of failure of any item, the owner of the laptop will be able to independently replace the part with a new one and recycle the broken one.

Terms of commercial implementation of the concept were not disclosed.
