Forced to leave their homes and move to safer areas due to the war, Ukrainians can now obtain immigrant status in just a few clicks. The government app “Action” launched a service where citizens can register as IDPs and even apply for financial aid. The press service of the Ministry of Digital Transformation gave more information about the innovations.

Such a service from “Action” has long been expected. As a result, in CNAPs in the western regions of Ukraine, IDPs had to endure huge queues to register as IDPs and apply for financial aid. Now all this can be done online in just a few minutes.

To apply for the status of IDPs and financial aid in the “Action” application, you need:

• Update “Action” to the latest version and select “Get IDP status” in “Services” tab;
• specify your location and confirm geolocation (this only needs to be done once to use the service);
• IDP status can also be issued to a child – if the birth certificate is not obtained automatically, it can be entered manually in the “Action”;
• to apply for financial aid, you must select the “e-Support” card;
• To receive other types of assistance, including humanitarian and medical, you must drop your connections.

After entering all the necessary data, the user must confirm its accuracy and click “Submit”. The IDP’s certificate will appear in the “Action” section among other digital documents.

We remind you that IDPs receive the following monthly assistance from the state:

• 2,000 UAH for an adult;
• 3000 UAH for a child or a disabled person.

These funds can be obtained from the “e-Support” card. They are allowed to use it in any way convenient for the owner, including to pay for purchases, withdraw cash and even transfer to another bank card.
