We started a new year and the truth is that we wanted to… If 2022 started hopeful in the face of the “new normal” opened by the restrictions of the COVID pandemic, soon Putin’s invasion of Ukraine and its consequences at all levels brought us back to harsh reality: it will be another very difficult year.

We approach 2023 with a renewed spirit and hope and illusion that the world will improve globally, and the editors who usually work at MuyComputer (Tomás, Isidro, José, Eduardo, María, David and Juan) and by extension the whole big TPNet family, we did not want miss the opportunity to wish you the best of the year that begins. Of course, we must not forget all who have been abandoned for whatever reason, and if you have been touched by this, our memory and affection go out.

In the professional area, I will tell you that in 2022 we were able – at least – to maintain employees and external collaborators, clients and revenue, users and page views. And it is no small thing considering that the media situation is not ideal. Special thanks go to the clients who trusted our work this year, and of course to all of you, the fundamental pillars for further progress.

We have good news from other media in our mother house TPNET. In 2022, our most professional website MCPRO again improved the level of traffic, as well as our pages dedicated to the MuyCanal distribution channel and the page dedicated to small and medium-sized companies MuyPymes, leaders in their segment. We also maintain our blog dedicated to computer security, muyseguridad and MuyLinux, our pearl for being the absolute reference in digital publications in Spanish about the world of Linux and free software, with which MC is directly connected.

We will have time to inform you about the news that we are preparing for the new year. Here we are and here we will continue, and we promise to continue to improve with your help and participation.
