Hisense introduced its 85-inch ULEDX Mini LED 4K TV with increased brightness at the Consumer Electronics Show CES 2023. The TV panel received 20,000 mini LEDs and 5,000 backlight zones, and the maximum brightness can reach 2,500 cd//.m2. It should be noted that earlier LG released the latest OLED TVs with a peak brightness of 2100 cd/m2., and the maximum brightness of the new Samsung Neo QLED is 4000 cd/m2.
The ULEDX Mini LED 4K TV is equipped with a proprietary Hisense Hi-View Engine X processor that provides automatic brightness control based on artificial intelligence.
According to Hisense’s official statement, the contrast ratio of ULEDX Mini LED 4K can be three times higher than traditional OLED TVs (150000:1), and the dynamic range has been doubled. In addition, this TV has a built-in 7-speaker speaker system with a capacity of 80 watts and supporting Dolby Atmos. ULEDX Mini LED 4K also supports Dolby Vision, Wi-Fi 6E and AMD Freesync Premium Pro. The price and release date will be announced to the public later.
