After years of tossing about the concept and the amount of rumors about it, PlayStation Plus (it should be said that version 2.0) has become a reality officially confirmed on March 29, when it complained that it was a “secret” project codenamed Spartacus, to take over the name of one of the services that Sony had already offered, but very reformed and expanded, to finally respond to Microsoft’s more than bold initiative with Xbox Game Pass.
We must remember that when Microsoft began to appear as a game-changerwhat the Anglo-Saxons would say, a novelty that came to change the predetermined rules, Sony still insisted on confirming that PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now were OK as they were and that in their case they saw no future in the subscription system to the catalog of games with triple A news, which the Redmonds have already done.
Fortunately (at least in my opinion) somewhere along the way they realized they were making a mistake, approached a model that only made Microsoft happy, and decided to get to work. If you want to know the chronology of this change, we’ll share it here, a week before Sony finally confirmed the new PlayStation Plus, with all the details … except the exact date of its arrival and the titles with which the service will debut.

The second, at the moment, we still do not have an answer, but the first point has been clarified, how can we read on the official blog PlayStation, vsand reports on various PlayStation Plus release dates around the world. They are as follows:
- Asian markets (excluding Japan): target date is May 23, 2022
- Japan: target date is June 1, 2022
- America: target date is June 13, 2022
- Europe: target date is June 22, 2022
So it’s official PlayStation Plus will debut in Spain on June 22, 2022, just two months and almost a month after it happened in Asian markets, with the strange exclusion of Japan, home of Sony, from the group. As for Latin America, I want to understand that it is included in the launch on June 13, meaning that there will be a service debut nine days earlier on the old continent.
We can only hope that in the month remaining until the first of the debuts, we will start having news about the titles included in PlayStation Plus. However, we must not forget that licenses may vary from one region to another, so we must not interpret the catalog of one region from being similar to others.
