Originally introduced in 2022 exclusively for Windows 11, the Windows Subsystem for Android is an operating system feature that allows users to run Android apps. on supported PCs. Through Microsoft’s partnership with Amazon, apps can be downloaded and installed from the Amazon AppStore.

An important detail is that the Amazon AppStore for Windows 11 is only available in a limited number of countries and Brazil is not among them. Another important point is that for those who do not like the low selection of applications in the Amazon AppStore, some unofficial third party solutions allow you to use the Google Play Store instead, but this is not supported by Microsoft and there is no guarantee that users of these third party solutions will not there will be stability and/or security issues.

To use WSA, the PC must have an SSD instead of a traditional hard drive, 8 GB or more of RAM, 16 GB or more of disk space, and virtualization support enabled in BIOS/UEFI.
