UGC 7983 is about 30 million light-years from Earth.

It is noted that a small asteroid with a diameter of several kilometers can be seen in the upper left corner of this image. The asteroid trail can be seen as four bands of light separated by small gaps.
A number of galaxies, including ellipticals and bright stars, can be seen in the background of UGC 7983.
As Ukrinform reports, the NASA/ESA Hubble space telescope photographed the amorphous galaxy LEDA 48062 in the constellation Perseus.
