Now, with wider distribution across the country, Ookla has unearthed evidence that the Z Fold 4 from the Samsung Galaxy lineup is the smartphone with the fastest internet in the US.

The dispute between the mobile phone with the fastest connection leans towards the Android operating system, with three devices in the top 5 versus two for iOS. Samsung places two smartphones in the top 5, in first and fifth places, while Apple takes third and fourth places with the iPhone 14 line. On the other hand, Google surprises and ends up in second place with the Pixel 7 Pro.

Increased availability in remote regions

The sharp change in the rating was most likely influenced by the greater availability of the iPhone 14 Pro Max away from major urban centers. During the first few months of a launch, it makes sense to run device connectivity tests. high availability in places with the best internet connection positively impacts.

The reverse may also be true. Therefore, it would be necessary to analyze the availability of other devices, since the Pixel 7 Pro and Galaxy Z Fold 4 also have good availability in more remote regions.
