OnePlus has announced the OnePlus Ace smartphone in China. It is a continuation of the OPPO Reno Ace smartphone series, combining premium design and highly powerful equipment at an affordable price. The design of the device may look familiar. This is true because the OnePlus Ace is actually the Realme GT Neo 3, just in a different “wrapper”.

OnePlus Ace is built on the Dimensity 8100 Max chipset, which has received minor changes compared to the base version. The manufacturer did not specify what the improvements in the processor are, except for advanced artificial intelligence. The main feature of OnePlus Ace is that it supports ultra-fast wired SuperVOOC charging at 150 watts. According to the company, the smartphone can be charged to 50% in just 5 minutes. At the same time, OnePlus has provided measures to protect the battery that regulates its heating and reduces wear. The device has a special “superstalline” graphite layer that improves heat dissipation. The company claims that the battery retains up to 80% capacity after 1600 cycles of full charge.

Visually, the OnePlus Ace is a very interesting device. The back of the smartphone is split in two, half with a textured design. On the front, in the center, there is a round hole for the front camera – the first time for the brand, because on other devices the hole was in the corner. There’s also no physical button that includes Do Not Disturb mode, which is an integral part of OnePlus flagships.

OnePlus Ace will be available in black and blue colors. The cost of the base model (8/128 GB) will be 2,499 yuan, the 8/256 GB version – 2,699 yuan, the 12/256 GB version – 2,999 yuan. In the maximum configuration (12/512 GB), the smartphone will cost 3,499 yuan. Sales in China will begin on April 26. The new OnePlus Ace will hit the international market under the name OnePlus 10R, it will launch in India on April 28.
