As reported by Ukrinform, this was reported by The Korea Bizwire.
Called the AI (artificial intelligence) Barista Robot, the robot can prepare about 20 different types of coffee and beverages and serve coffees that appeal to consumers’ personal tastes.
The device can also complete the beverage making process by covering the glass with the lid.
In particular, the AI Barista Robot can also provide store owners with real-time information, including the number of sales of different types of coffee, raw material consumption and equipment status, through a data analysis platform.
“The new robot can significantly reduce the inconvenience of unmanned stores while helping to increase the overall efficiency of stores through 24/7 service,” said an SK Telecom representative.
The telecom operator added that it plans to franchise the robot in collaboration with one of the largest coffee shop operators in the country to expand the business of such robot coffee machines.
As quoted by Ukrinform, the American Robotic Assistance Devices company presented a robotic watchdog called RADDOG.
