The autonomous vehicle is equipped with 3G sensor vision technology based on artificial intelligence, which creates a map of the plant and its crop.
It moves between rows of greenhouses using sensors that help detect obstacles. The drone has two “robotic” arms to simultaneously pick tomatoes from both sides of the row in high-tech greenhouses.
An advanced vision system detects ripe tomatoes and guides a “robotic” arm to the location of the vegetable, cuts tomato branches in a single operation and places the vegetables on a conveyor belt before tossing them into boxes on board. The transaction speed of a branch is 16 seconds.
When the robot reaches the end of its turn, it stops and returns to the beginning, and its trailer is dismantled and sent to the warehouse.
