Users of new Samsung smartphones have reported a lack of memory. This was reported by the SamMobile post.

The authors of the portal drew attention to the complaints of the first owners of Samsung Galaxy S23 phones. Consumers have noticed that the Android operating system on the devices can occupy up to 60 gigabytes of memory on the drive. According to users, usually Google’s operating system requires much less space.

Journalists learned that the size required for placing Android differs in different regions. So, for the Indian market, the system takes up about 40 gigabytes of space, while smartphones of the Spanish version of the operating system take up to 60 gigabytes. For comparison: on smartphones of the Galaxy S22 series, Android occupied a little more than 30 gigabytes.

Experts have suggested that Samsung does not use the Android A/B Continuous Updates feature, which includes seamless downloading of updates. The authors also concluded, all things considered, that in some regions – the United States and Europe – various applications of partners are installed on Android. A positive point, according to journalists, is that all phones in the Galaxy S23 series have at least 256 gigabytes of memory.
