As reported by Ukrinform, Yonhap reported it.
The world’s largest smartphone maker said it plans to use recycled plastic materials in all of its new flagship Galaxy smartphones and to end the use of plastic in packaging by 2025.
At the beginning of February, Samsung launched new flagship Galaxy S smartphones in three models: Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus and luxury Galaxy S23 Ultra model.
To further its sustainability efforts, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra uses 12 internal and external components made from environmentally friendly materials, compared to six in the previous model.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra uses recycled plastic from discarded PET bottles on the rear glass and front of the case, and recycled aluminum in the side key, volume rocker and SIM card tray.
The company said the luxury model also uses windshield and rear glass, which contains an average of 22% recycled content.
As reported by Ukrinform, South Korean company Samsung Electronics will invest more than 7 trillion won (US$5.02 billion) by 2030 as part of environmental initiatives aimed at making the company carbon neutral by 2050.
