Twitter changed its policy this week to allow US cannabis companies to advertise on its platform despite numerous restrictions.
For many cannabis advertisers, this is a groundbreaking opportunity to reach their markets and audiences without resorting to any workarounds.

In order for cannabis businesses to run such ads on Twitter, they must be pre-authorized and approved and meet a number of requirements. Perhaps the most important restriction is that growers cannot offer marijuana directly for sale. Advertising can only be valid informative content about cannabis and related services promoting brand benefits.
