Today, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office published a number of Apple’s patent applications worth mentioning. One is about a new camera for electromagnetic shielding tests, the other four about GPUs and one about Windows for vehicles of the future.

In addition to devices, processors, GPUs, and software, Apple also applies for patents for Apple Stores, Apple Store displays, lights, and more. Today, the U.S. Patent Office has issued a patent entitled “Chamber for testing vented electromagnetic shielding“. This is the first patent currently in force.

In Apple’s patent application, laptop computers, mobile phones, televisions, smart watches, AM/FM radios, etc. It is stated that electronic devices include various components such as transceivers, transmitters, receivers and antennas for wireless transmission and/or reception. messages that use electromagnetic waves, such as radio waves.

These components, referred to as electromagnetically sensitive equipment in certain instances of this disclosure, may be tuned or otherwise configured to convert between electrical data signals and electromagnetic waves. In order to ensure the adequate performance of electromagnetically sensitive equipment, a tester identifying a test chamber can be used to verify various performance indicators of electromagnetically sensitive equipment.
